Derm-A-Globe Color Therapy - The Derm-A-Globe tool incorporates the therapeutic properties of color, temperature, touch and movement. Color - The globes are divided by color: warm (red and yellow) and cold (blue, purple, and green). Each color achieves specific results when treating conditions related to age, weather, skin, and aging. For example, use cold colors (blue, purple and green) to calm anxious clients. Use the warm colors (red and yellow) on clients who need energized. Temperature - The temperature of each globe can be changed to treat specific conditions. For example, when used warm, the Derm-A-Globe will energize and stimulate tired skin, relieve sinus pressure and headaches, and soothe tender joints. When used cold, the Derm-A-Globe will reduce redness and inflammation, soothe skin irritations, tone aging skin, and minimize facial pores. To reduce the intensity of your treatment, use the globes at room temperature. Touch and Movement - To treat specific conditions, control the pressure and movement of the globe. For example, to relieve muscle tension and tightness, apply light to moderate pressure. To increase blood supply to the skin, move the globe in an upward circular motion.
