Description   Wooden Shirodhara Stand The maple Shirodhara Stand is an attractive piece of furniture that will enhance any treatment room. It stands 72" tall and is mounted on a 4-legged base with locking casters to ensure stability. It is also counter weighted on the side opposite the arm for additional stability. The arm that holds the Shirodhara bowl extends out 18". Using a slotted track height adjustment, it can be adjusted from 38" to 68" (from top of arm). The vessel hangs down 9.5" below the arm. The valve at the bottom of the vessel is 18" below the arm. Vessel, Stainless Bowl, Thermometer & DVDs sold separately. About Shirodhara: Shirodhara is a classic Ayurvedic treatment, thousands of years old, in which warm oil is poured in a continuous stream across the forehead. A vessel, suspended above the client's head, is used to pour the liquid in a pattern across the forehead and onto the scalp.
