Description   Glycolic Acid Peel 30% / 4 oz. by Ayur-Medic Skincare This solution has been formulated for resurfacing normal, oily thick skin. Glycolic acid facilitates the sloughing off of dead skin cells by dissolving the substances responsible for corneocyte adhesion. This formulation is proven to be effective in improving skin texture, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles. pH range 3 CONTRAINDICATIONS: A patch test is necessary to rule out any unknown allergies. Wait 3 days after the patch test before proceeding with the peel. Pregnancy, lactation, active herpes, suspicious lesions, open sores and Rosacea are contraindicated. For Professional Use Only. VIEW ALL PRODUCTS BY AYUR-MEDIC SKINCARE Features Professional Skin Procedure with Professional Skin Procedure with ALPHA GLYCOLIC PEEL 40% for SUN DAMAGED SKIN 50 minute facial Please read these instructions completely before beginning treatment. Remove all eye make-up and lipstick with Calming Cleanse. Remove with war cloth or cotton. Perform two cleansings under steam with Vacha Facial Cleanser for Dry Skin. Remove with warm cloth or cotton. Cover the eyes, analyze the skin under a magnifying lamp. Continue steaming for another 5 minutes. Remove steam and pat the skin dry. Apply Prepping Solution to the skin with a dampened cotton pad. While skin is drying, prepare a solution of 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda with 1 cup of water in a bowl. Reserve for deactivation of the peel. With a fan brush apply the Alpha Glycolic Peel 40%. Leave on for 3-4 minutes. Use a hand held fan to cool excess heat stimulation. CAUTION: Closely observe skin under magnifying lamp to avoid excess irritation (“hot spots”) if this occurs, neutralize immediately with baking soda solution. To deactivate the 40% Peel, apply Baking Soda mixture with cotton pad or fan brush. Perform manual extractions Make a compress with Vacha Dry Skin Toner and leave on for 3 minutes. Remove compress and apply Collagen Stimulating Serum. Allow product to dry. Apply a small amount of Enhancing Cream and perform a relaxing facial massage. Apply Moisturizing Mask with a fan brush. Leave on the skin for 10-15 minutes. Remove with a warm cloth or cotton. Apply Vacha Dry Skin Toner and blot dry with tissue. Apply Eye & Lip Line Cream. Apply SPF-30 to complete the treatment. **Please note: Prior to any peel, client’s eyes must be surrounded with a protective barrier of petroleum jelly, lotion or cream, and cotton (to prevent product from dripping into the eyes). Client should be instructed to keep eyes closed throughout the entire treatment. If glycolic solution gets into the eyes, neutralize entire face immediately and flush eyes with cool water for 10-15 minutes. *Client Consent Form must be filled completely and dated by client prior to every treatment. Client must always be informed of contra-dictions, possible risks of peels, and potential “down-time”. Only licensed skin care professionals who have been trained and certified by written examination through Aesthetics International in the professional protocol for this product are authorized to use it. It is the sole responsibility of the establishment owner to ensure the proper training of new staff, by written examination and certification through Aesthetics International.
