All of the sponges that this manufacturer provides are made from raw materials. These sponges are made from natural, untreated cellulose fiber. While cellulose is derived from wood products, it is the most eco-friendly choice available. Sea sponges are also natural, but there is some question as to the sustainability of the worlds sponge fisheries. Furthermore, other sponges are made from synthetic materials, which are processed using various chemical agents.
