Alvida Woods Lamp.

The Wood's Lamp with Stand is the professional way to diagnose underlying skin conditions. It has a 3-diopter magnifying lens. Lightweight and portable for easy sharing between treatment rooms.

A Wood's lamp is a diagnostic tool used in dermatology by which ultraviolet light is shone (at a wavelength of approximately 365 nanometers) on to the skin of the patient; a technician then observes any subsequent fluorescence.
    The Woods Lamp Reveals:
  • White Fluorescent = Thick Corneum
  • White Spots = Dead Cells
  • Blue, White Fluorescent = Normal, Healthy Skin
  • Purple Fluorescent = Dehydrated Skin
  • Bright Fluorescent = Hydrated Skin
  • Yellow or Pink Fluorescent = Oily Areas, Blackheads
  • Brown = Pigmentation and Dark Spots
