Mexican arnica is used to produce infused oils and tinctures for use in making topical salves, balms, soaps, and other formulations for the skin and hair. The whole flowers of Mexican arnica may be infused in alcohol or oil and used to make customized skin care products, including facial washes, soap, salves, lotions, and hair and scalp conditioners. Can be combined with other skin-loving herbs, including chamomile, meadowsweet, and white willow bark. Note: All arnica species are toxic, even in small doses. Use of this herb is limited to topical applications and homeopathic preparations. This herb is a member of the daisy family, so its possible for allergic reactions to occur in sensitive clients. 1 lb.
